Fuel is Burd Early
I looked high and low for the artist who sang the words "The whole world is going there: presently nowhere" in Fuel TV's Signature Series commercial that starts with an animated beetle being lifted up by a bolt acting as a Ferris wheel.
The spot is totally cool - it's Nathan Reifke's commercial work debut collaborating with Stardust (http://www.stardust.tv).
You can check out the spot in full and find out more about the artistry at http://www.mefeedia.com/entry/3282464/
But for me the song was infectious. I had to know what it was.
So, for you lucky chaps I did the legwork - the artist is Burd Early a singer/songwriter from New York and the song is "Driftwood".
I was able to buy a bunch of his stuff from itunes but I have to admit his other work doesn't come close to the idealistic simplistic song writing that this song captures.
Check him out though - I'm not displeased with his other work; just have to play "Driftwood" between each song.
Yours Truly,
The Jenerator
